Left With Nothing

june 15th – 30DaysOfAwesome, day 6.

the denver film society presents film on the rocks, an on going movie experience at red rocks amphitheater all summer long. i jumped at the opportunity to watch my favorite movie (the princess bride) under the stars with my favorite guy (mr. sean french).

i can remember the first time i saw the princess bride, i was immediately hooked. i remember watching it with my dad and laughing hysterically when indigo montoya says “who are you?” as a kid, i even went as far to read the book, which reached the top of my all time favorite novels (sorry about that harry potter). although i’ve seen the movie over 100 times, i had never been to film on the rocks and i must say it’s even better on the big big big rock screen.

glad to see i still have every line memorized, especially the great 1 liners. and if you’ve ever seen the princess bride, you should know there is about 65 amazing 1 liners. sean was a wonderful date, and even agreed to take a couple of photos with me (gasp…i know). we had a blast, had some candy, and cuddled up underneath the stars at the beautiful red rocks. that sounds like a recipe for awesome.
